Terms of Service & Payment Agreement
Please review the binding terms between you (“Customer” or “User”) and MEGATEMP Technologies Inc. (“MEGATEMP”, “we”, or “our platform”). By scheduling a technician, creating an account, or confirming a booking, you accept these terms.
Pay on Completion
You pay only after you verify cold air output (<16°C) yourself. No payment before the job is done.
Prices Locked at Booking
Zero arrival charges, zero unexpected add-on fees, and zero doorstep bait-and-switch pricing escalation.
30-90 Day Warranties
Cleanings include a 30-day no-drip guarantee. Refrigerant leak repairs and PCB board fixes carry 60-90 day coverage.
1.0 Platform Scope & Aircon Specialist Roster
MEGATEMP operates a managed aircon marketplace connecting residential condominium owners, private homeowners, and commercial facilities with rigorously vetted, background-checked, and certified aircon specialists throughout Metro Manila. All technicians adhere to uniform cleanroom procedures, published rate schedules, and prices locked at booking.
2.0 Guaranteed Pricing Locked at Booking (No Hidden Fees)
All services booked via the MEGATEMP platform are billed strictly according to our published Standard Rate Matrix:
- Zero Arrival Fees: No assessment or transportation fees are charged for confirmed bookings within our active Metro Manila service hubs.
- Digital Change Orders: If on-site diagnostic testing reveals additional parts or repairs are required beyond the original booking, the technician must issue a digital estimate inside the app. No unapproved work may proceed.
- Prohibition of Direct Cash Side-Deals: Direct off-platform cash transactions with technicians are strictly prohibited and immediately void all warranty protections and liability coverage.
3.0 Payment on Completion
To protect consumers against premature payments and substandard contractor workmanship, MEGATEMP operates a pay-on-completion policy:
1. Locked-In Price: The full price is agreed at booking and does not change.
2. Quality Protocol: The technician completes the required multi-point wash or diagnostic protocol, documenting Delta-T cold airflow proof.
3. Payment on Completion: The customer pays the locked-in price after the technician finishes and the cold air has been personally verified.
4.0 Warranty & Workmanship Guarantees
30-Day Air Clean Guarantee
Free technician re-visit and re-cleaning if any water dripping, blower imbalance, or mold odor occurs within 30 days.
60-Day Freon Leak Warranty
Guaranteed zero refrigerant pressure drop across repaired flare joints and brazed copper lines for 60 days.
90-Day Electronic Board Warranty
Covers replacement inverter PCB motherboards, IPM modules, relays, capacitors, and DC fan motors for 90 days.
₱1,000,000 Property Damage Insurance
Third-party liability coverage protecting home furnishings, flooring, walls, and condo common areas against accidental water damage.
5.0 Condominium Work Permits & Access
Condominium buildings in Metro Manila (BGC, Makati CBD, Ortigas, Rockwell, QC) often require building administration gate passes:
- Customers may upload building permits during checkout for automatic technician assignment.
- MEGATEMP technicians carry government-issued IDs, aircon specialist certificates, and company badges at all times.
- If security denies entry due to missing building clearance by the customer, a ₱300 technician dispatch fee applies.
6.0 Free Cancellation & Rescheduling SLA
Bookings may be cancelled or rescheduled free of charge up to 60 minutes before the scheduled arrival window. Cancellations requested after technician arrival on-site incur a ₱300 travel fee, with the remainder refunded within 24 hours.
7.0 Governing Law & Metro Manila Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, including the Consumer Act of the Philippines (RA 7394) and the Electronic Commerce Act (RA 8792). Legal venue shall reside exclusively in Taguig City or Makati City, Metro Manila.
